And as you said it's more or less offensive when they put out something like this and try to justify it as a sequel to Hooper's classic.

I loved your review, I'm sure it reflects how a lot of TCM fans feel. I don't think your premature in saying worst of 2013, as you did get it last year with The Devil Inside.Bleeding Deadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00087330094779188187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143753798048522394.post-35123313410888261522013-01-08T07:58:06.090-08:002013-01-08T07:58:06.090-08:00I haven't seen the movie, Phil, and probably w...I haven't seen the movie, Phil, and probably won't now... but, I really enjoyed your review. It's one of those "taking the bullet" (or chainsaw, as the case may be) cautionary reviews I used to enjoy writing -- not to dis a film so much as to warn like-minded friends and followers! Great job. Also, thanks for the shout-out to TX CH Next Gen., really good performances in that movie, I'd nearly forgotten about it... it's great to be reminded of MM's roots, as I have seen him in two **great** movies of 2012 (The Paperboy, and Killer Joe).Staci Layne Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16672626832758499809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143753798048522394.post-73914782204133646532013-01-07T23:53:10.757-08:002013-01-07T23:53:10.757-08:00I don't think they should retire, but they may...I don't think they should retire, but they may all want to take an extremely long vacation. It now begs the question of should the fantastic four of horror (Leatherface, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger) be retired for good - what do you think?Ravyn Nevermorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11346255801183776440noreply@blogger.com
